I have quite a few seeds saved from both of these. I'm in zone 5. Would love to trade for flowers that attract butterflies or hummingbirds or I can send you out some for the cost of postage if you don't have trades.

I have some seeds for verbena Verbena, Bonariensis, it is a host plant for the Buckeye, it is one of those duo plants like butterfly weed, it serves as a host plant and the butterflies love the flower as well.
I also have some extra seeds of Parsley, fernleaf dill, fennel and Ansie, they are all the host plants of several swallowtails. Those could be planted in with your flowers.

Would be glad to trade with you for some of the scarlet runner bean if your interested.

Definitely! Verbena Bonariensis is one of the top things I would love to have growing in my garden but I always seem to have trouble with it. I would love to trade some seeds and maybe some advice on getting mine to flourish!
Re: Blackberry Lily & Scarlet Runner Bean Vine seeds
It's a self seeding annual and once you get it started it's pretty easy to keep going. The seeds are really tiny, so I'm sending you the dried flower head, just crumble it up and sprinkle it on top of some worked up soil. If that doesn't work for you, later when mine start coming up I'll just send you a little plant or two, they are pretty hardy to move around so the short trip from me to you shouldn't hurt it any
Now don't forget if you really want the different butterflies to come around you have to plant their host plant, they will seek out those plants to lay their eggs on.
I'll send you an e-mail for the trade!

Glad you joined us Julieluvs2garden!
Have you got all your herb plants to complete your Certified Herb Garden? Josh may have some extra plants or seeds if your missing something, or may be able to help you locate anything your missing.
The runner bean is high in nectar and many butterflies, bees and hummingbirds will love it!
