March Maddness in the garden! Empty March Maddness in the garden!

Post  Theresa Thu Mar 08, 2012 9:37 am

Getting ready for March Madness!! As it warms up, I get anxious to grow something!!

I picked up some dinner plate Dahlias, some red ones and some mixed colors. I've grown them in the past and they really put on a big display of large flowers. I personally like the red the best.

I'm sure before March is over I'll pick up more flowers and vegetables to add to the garden this year.

What are you adding new to your flower garden this year?

Im getting an apothecary rose or an heirloom one for my garden.
I want to make rose water and use it for medicinal purposes.
I am going to plant California Poppies. i bought the seeds today. My mother has an established bed of them and hers are already up and about to bloom! I love that orange color.
