English Angora Rabbit's wool is growing
This is one of my mother rabbits, I cut her wool back before she had her babies so the babies would not get tangled in the wool. Her wool grew back quickly, at around 8 or 9 weeks she is looking good, no tangles or mats, soft and fluffy!
There are some places on the rabbit that really need special attention to keep them from getting matted, and the rabbits don't always care for these areas to be groomed, so you want to make sure that you groom them often to make sure they don't become matted. Behind the ears is a place that becomes matted easy, the wool on their cheek area, and the mouth/neck area. Those are tender sensitive areas for the rabbit and become easily tangled and matted. Of course their private areas need to be checked and kept from matting. A rabbit is like a cat it cleans itself, but an Angora is going to need your help with keeping that wool from matting. With a little regular grooming it won't be hard to have a beautiful angora rabbit.
