I haven't tried it but I did notice it last night on our local seed companies list under the spinach. Might have to give it a try this year, since it's pretty heat tolerant. I love spinach but it doesn't really do well in the heat! How long did this one produce for you?

It produced right up until the heavy frost finally killed it. It's not a true spinach, but it does have all the nutrition that spinach has, maybe even better. I didn't care for it to much, the leaves are thicker, and when you cut/break them, there is slimy oozy clear substance that comes out of the leaves.

However I do like it for an ornamental vine, if someone is wanting a fast growing vine that holds up beautifully in the hot sun this might be what your looking for. The vine stem is a bright red/purple color, the leaves are a nice dark bright green, and the flowers are small but attractive!

Hah! Didn't even notice the flowers! Another "pollinator attractant"! Probably didn't spell that right, lol

Well, I think, for a couple bucks worth of seed, it'd be worth it to at least give it a try!

I like trying new things Wink

eta: Oh! Another thing about it, maybe if I don't really care for it maybe some rabbits, chickens or goats might! Not that I have any yet, but it's a thought!
