Roses
I had Josh move our rose bushes last year to a raised bed garden, they did EXCELLENT!
We use a lot of rabbit manure and worm castings in our soil mix, and the roses love it. I can't say enough about the benefits of worm castings and the worm tea.
I didn't use any commercial products on the roses.
I think having them in the raised bed made it easy to add the rabbit manure and worm castings directly to the root system of the roses, some of them I had planted for years in the yard, I even thought one was sure to die.
This one was a double knock out
And last year I bought some new David Austin Roses, and they were also grown in the same way, and they were fantastic!
Lichfield Angel
Molineux
This is the raised garden he moved them to. This year I will take some photos of the full garden so you can see how well the entire plant is growing. Take notice of the leaves of the bushes in the photos above, no black spot!
So if your wondering if you can grow roses in a raised bed, the answer is yes you can!

Re: Roses
I'm thinking about adding some more roses to the flower garden this year, does anyone have any recommendations? Favorites?

Re: Roses
I found a really pretty rose to add to my rose garden this year.
It's called Hot Cocoa.
I love the two tones, then as the blooms get older it has a frosted look to the pedals.
