Keeping Your Bunnies Cool this Summer Empty Keeping Your Bunnies Cool this Summer

Keeping your bunnies cool in the heat this summer, if you can't bring them in where it's cool, then try some of these ideas to keep them cool.

Staying cool in high temps is very important for your bunnies health.  If you have English Angora Rabbits, you might want to consider cutting their fur/wool back to about an inch, leaving the fur on their ears and bottoms of their feet uncut.

I place gallon jugs of frozen water in their cages to help cool them down, and when the temps get way up there, I put a fan on them as well.

I have a simple DIY air conditioner that works using ice, that I use, and the bunnies THANK ME for using it!  Here is a short video of how we made ours.

STAY COOL!
