HerbFest
Last year I attended this event, and I would like to pass
this year's information on to all of you.
The Illinois Herb Association has announced their annual summer field day event.
HerbFest (formerly SummerFest) to be held June 9th.
HerbFest will once again be held at the Washington Park Botanical Gardens in Springfield, from 9 am - 3 pm.
In addition to the presentations and herb-themed lunch, there will be an opportunity to visit vendors and have a tour of the botanical Gardens.
The agenda will include the following topics.
Herbs and Breast Health with Lynn Waters.
Learn how to make Herbal Tinctures with Susan Saniie.
Herb Bouquets with Cathy Lafrenz
Herbs on the Farm with Deborah Niemann-Boehie
The cost of the event, including lunch is $20.00 for IHA members and $30.00 for non-members.
Registration material can be found on the Herb page of the ISGA web
site.
