Raised bed gardening for the birds
Raised bed gardening is not just for the veggies, we changed our flower gardens over to raised bed gardens also. We have flower gardens for the butterflies and for birds. Many flowers can provide food and shelter for the birds grown in the gardens.
Here is a list of some of the plants I grew in the flowergardens that attract the birds.
Bachelor's Button

Four o' clocks
Honeysuckle
Larkspur
Pincushion
Poppy
Purple Coneflowers
Sunflowers
